Whether you’re confident or insecure, all of Mankind are born with personality traits that we may not quite understand. Sometimes ladies, guys don’t understand you & even you may not always understand you. Gender-wise, there is some ‘character’ that is unique to you, but your personality came through your name, believe it or not. That’s why I say to call yourself what the Word says you are: Your name is “fearfully & wonderfully made”! Your name is royal, holy & chosen! The Lord knows how to rename you & Bless you according to that. Ladies, I don’t believe all of what you & others call “bad” (because of quirks in you) is necessarily that, it just may be used wrong. Even your looks, charisma, influence & all are meant to work together for good: that influence you have may even sway folk into the Kingdom of God - influence & win the soul of people over to bring them over to Jesus like the 'woman at the well' did (without trying to 'preach'). Perhaps that ‘attitude’ of yours was actually meant to be seriousness for when it comes to the things of God...or that supposed ‘stubbornness’ may be intended to be tenacity - to help you finish college or pursuing the things of God & getting back all that belongs to you! For we know all things (good & bad) work together for the good of them that love the Lord & are the Called, according to His Purpose.
Please, run to Him, not from Him - He’s a loving God! Jesus has already took care of any 'hang-ups' you may have; Believing in him & what He’s done ties you to Purpose - the real reason He gave you those ways, tools & traits we mentioned. If you surrender to Him, trust me, He’ll get rid of anything that doesn’t need to be in your life; His Spirit helps our infirmities.
So many out of confusion, hurt, etc. are marching, protesting & doing other things when in God’s Word, women were always instrumental in bringing change, correction, guidance, help, answers, etc. to their world. Paul said in 1 instance about 1 Cor. 14:34-35 about women remaining silent & the charge said being by “the Lord’s Command”, which is actually speaking of order, respect, and women acknowledging their husbands, male set-authority, & men in-general. There are NO instances of any woman in '5-fold ministry', except prophetesses, no female elders, no female bishops, and no female 'preachers'. But here are notable women in the Bible helped in other ways, though, underlined below:
Deborah, Huldah, Miriam, Anna & others were prophetesses. Priscilla, alongside her HUSBAND, EXPLAINED, not taught, Apollos, who in-turn helped Paul. Joel prophesied that spiritual daughters would prophesy & did in Acts 2 and they “proclaimed the wonderful works of God”. It was Paul, AFTER being imprisoned, who recommended Phebe to the Romans who was a “servant of the church” who was already ministering (serving by helping out with daily tasks) at the church at Cenchrea & encouraged Paul also. Paul also asked the church at Philippi to “help those women who labored with me in the Gospel....whose names are in the Book of Life”.
When Paul said in Galatians 3:28 - “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus”. Please, don’t pull feminist views from this - you’re already free, but IF you respect the Lord, respect the order & protocol of how God has arranged things - Adam first then Eve. Paul was not backing a perverse, genderless natural existence, but on the contrary simply pointing that the Body of Christ is one Body; In keeping with Divine Order, Eve having Adam had the Lord's Words brought to her, thus Paul would later say for women with questions to ask their own husbands at home, and not not speak over or usurp the authority of a man. The biblical qualifications for a bishop or an elder are for men only, according to Scripture. There are no female pastors recorded. Some women, in error, try to bypass the qualifications of a bishop by Acts 20:28, which they missed that in verse 17, Paul was speaking to "elders", which were, in accordance to Scripture, all men.
But look at the Woman at the well who testified to the city to Christ! Look at Ruth! Look at Queen Esther interceding for her people! Look at the splendor & grace of the Queen of Sheba, & the strength & daily practical application of the word of wisdom & knowledge in life (not 'preaching') of the virtuous Proverbs 31 woman! In Scripture, we see women encouraging, dancing, singing, praying (quietly), teaching the younger women, giving, being generous, & done many things in serving the Lord - The displaying of the expressing God's Love in the Earth! Even Christ in you, contrasting & making difference, & that being a shining light in a dark workplace! God Bless you, Women of God!
I may revisit this, if time permit.
